Roman Pizza Two-Ways

PINSA – Our made-to-order pies are based on the classic Pinsa Romana — a multi-grain, slow-cold-fermented, par-baked flatbread. Monte’s version includes local Spelt flour from Maine Grains and is a lighter, crispier, easier-to-digest version of the standard pizza crust.

ROMAN BAKERY-STYLE PIZZA — At old school Roman bakeries such as Roscioli and Forno Campo de’ Fiore, pizza is thin-crust and baked in long sheets. Monte’s Pizza Pronto slices pay homage to the originals with updated classics and one-of-a-kind originals. Made with the same dough as our pinsa, Monte’s bakery pizza is available for in-store pick-up only.
